I needed to tap into another wire for power but did not want to cut the wire and make more connections. These did the trick.The only Con I would say is not having a way to know what size the wire you're tapping into is. As I write this I realized it is not an easy task as wires will vary along with the size of the insulation. I just started with the larger if unsure and if contact was not made drop down a size.
