Review on 💥 Leviton 32120-1 120/240V Single Phase Surge Panel, DHC & X10 Compatible, 80Ka L-N Maximum Surge Current by Maurice Cunha

On 06/20/12 I did a little research on Levitron 32120-1, overvoltage protection panel. I took it to our local energy board last weekend when I attended our annual meeting and spoke to some electricians there. I have been told that this product should work fine in my home as it also has a single phase 120 volt line. I was also told that this surge protection plate is similar to Cadillac among surge protection plates. My house is pretty typical, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms etc and it is not connected to other buildings. I made an appointment with a licensed certified electrician to come by this afternoon to install it. I was given an estimated cost of around $125.00 depending on how many circuits need to be moved in the breaker box to make room for the Leviton surge suppression panel. He also says it would be great for living spaces, but the critical test will be when he gets here, sees it and tries to install it. INSTALLATION: The electrician left about 15 minutes ago and it took him about 30 minutes to install the Leviton. 32120 Surge Protector. The installation cost me €125. He only had good things to say about it, to the point where he didn't like the device he had installed in his own home. He went on to say that Leviton is one of the best surge protectors. It looks really nice when he has it mounted on the wall in our garage under the fuse box. It's large enough not to fit in the electrical box, needs to be wall mounted next to or below it, and has its own circuit breaker. He said if you're out of town or a long way from home you don't need to worry as much about the electronics because Leviton should catch just about anything as long as it's within its specs. He added that having additional surge protectors on your sensitive electronics—computer, TV, stereo, etc.—provides an extra layer of protection. see where he's going and you don't have to turn off the TV for fear it will burn out when there's a bright white light flashing outside. I know the Leviton can't stop 100% of all electrical surges, but it offers a level of comfort we haven't had before. If you want complete protection, these surge protectors can cost thousands of dollars.
