I cannot rate this product. Apparently it's not for home use, only for business. The description on the product page is not very clear. It's not like a regular home assistant could do the installation. It comes with instructions but appears to be for a professional installer. It's a good looking device, probably with all the bells and whistles you want or need in this type of product. But I would research it further before buying if I'm not going to use it in a business setting.

My electrician advised me to get a whole house surge protector. It was difficult for a person completely unfamiliar with such things to understand what to take. On 06/20/12 I did a little research on Levitron 32120-1, overvoltage protection panel. I took it to our local energy board last weekend when I attended our annual meeting and spoke to some electricians there. I have been told that this product should work fine in my home as it also has a single phase 120 volt line. I was also told that this surge protection plate is similar to Cadillac among surge protection plates. My house is pretty typical, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms etc and it is not connected
