Incredibly good! I'm based near Los Angeles and running the free gorecv and goproc from Peter Nordhuis' gostools. I'm getting about 100 Witterbees from GOES-17 on average, well below the recommended 400 or less needed for reliable reception. The pictures are just amazing. Worth every penny. Note. I've found a few videos on YouTube about adding another amp or turning a small metal grille in front of the receiver to improve reception, but everything worked best for me the way it is. In fact, adding another amplifier will overload the receiver and make matters worse. Rotating the pelvis 45 degrees helps a little. Looking at the satellite from behind the antenna, rotate the antenna clockwise 45 degrees from horizontal so the right side is lower than the left (for GOES-17!). And then just make sure you're aiming at the right spot in the sky and you'll be fine. Enjoy!
