Despite some issues with the specs and instructions regarding the float switch I can say this is an attractive and well designed product. It's almost a pity that an attractive device that serves as a drainage pump is hidden in an underground basin. When the float switch is on, the water level is high enough for the float device to turn on the system, the powerful motor quickly and (surprisingly) silently pumping water out of the tank. The main consideration is that the water level must be up to 20 inches to properly act on the float switch. Please note: The seller of Tornado Tools really stands behind their product. All of these factors make me unreservedly recommend this product.
