They were very easy to install. The supplied screws are useless. I bought some #6x3/4 screws to attach to the trailer. Make sure you take a screenshot of the wiring as there are no wiring instructions for the light box and they don't connect the way you think. The light bar on the back can be wired as a brake light, but it will also flash with whatever turn signal you connect it to, which is why I didn't wire mine for the brake light, just the tail lights. They are much brighter than factory bulbs and should not burn out regular incandescent bulbs. Can't say anything about water resistance yet as I haven't had a trailer outside since installing it.
