Pros: Plug-and-play compatibility with Ubuntu 18.10 (Kernel 4.18.0). Identified as "CD-ROM. BD-RE BU20N" in dmesg on first connection. Cons: It seems to take quite a while for even basic CD-RW discs to boot up and read. Doesn't seem to work out of the box in Android. There are paid apps that claim to be able to install this, but I won't try them. Unknown: I connected this to a high power USB hub via USB-A, not directly to my tablet, so I'm not sure how much power it actually draws. However, it could only boot up with OnePlus 6's USB OTG performance.
