Don't waste your money

When trying to use the C adapter, a problem immediately arose. I was told that this alone lacks power and I need to use USB. So why is there an adapter C? I tried via USB and it worked if as my dad would say shut up and maybe turn your head. Then it was too late to return. I'm writing this now because I tried again, hoping it would work, but to no avail. It seems to work, but won't read program CDs. Haven't tried the video. This is supposed to be for discs.

Blu-ray not compatible with computers and accessories

I can't write a review because I can't get the Blu-ray player to work. The CD and DVD parts work, but not the Blu-Ray. There are almost no directions, no number to call for help, no website to go to for help. I got this because I needed a Blu-Ray. I already have DVD/CD players. I downloaded the video player software that came with the player and the Blu-ray doesn't work with it either. After spending at least 4 hours downloading some files that are supposedly missing from my computer, one of…

"Just working " in Ubuntu 18.10, not so much in Android

Pros: Plug-and-play compatibility with Ubuntu 18.10 (Kernel 4.18.0). Identified as "CD-ROM. BD-RE BU20N" in dmesg on first connection. Cons: It seems to take quite a while for even basic CD-RW discs to boot up and read. Doesn't seem to work out of the box in Android. There are paid apps that claim to be able to install this, but I won't try them. Unknown: I connected this to a high power USB hub via USB-A, not directly to my tablet, so I'm not sure how much power it actually draws. However, it…

DVD/BR player software required

Excellent product. I needed to find DVD/BR player software to boot into Windows 10 to play everything. I'm using Leawo, although I've heard there are ways to get VLC player to play Blue Beams. Plays Blue Rays flawlessly. The cable is a bit short, keeping the device close to the laptop. It doesn't seem to overheat. Be careful with the disc tray, it seems it can be a little fragile when I insert and remove discs.
