It's not a radar detector for those looking for maximum range, but it's the compromise you get for all the other features you get with this device. Max II receives alerts remotely. Suggestions - Driving indicator - there is an option to show the compass and voltage while the speed is too high for the speedometer in the vehicle - Auto-lock notification - this device will automatically be blocked as a false alarm, but you just have to blindly trust this feature is working. Max II provides an audible and visual notification that false alarms are being blocked - I would suggest adding the same feature to XP.
