It took my little one a while to bond with his dear angel, but after he kept reaching for his lion every time we comforted him before bed and before bed, he began to associate form. We did this for about a month. Now when I take his lion and give it to him, he gets excited, hugs and plays with him while he calms down. I feel like I'm leaving him with a mate to keep him company in his crib. I love these babies! I wish I had gotten them for my first son. They also seem to be durable, contrary to some of the other reviews I read before purchasing. I'm glad I went ahead and bought mine.
