We bought the 24" x 1.25DIA version. I'm glad we didn't get "fat" with it. It has a good grip diameter and is strong enough I installed them 2 for our bathtub which is separate from the shower This was a major safety upgrade for the bathroom Lots of holes for mounting options but some of them are difficult to access with a screwdriver Screw holes Too small for long screws The installation of screws was by far the best. Since I was trying to avoid running to the hardware store to find a slightly larger drill bit, I even waxed the screws and still had to spend a hell of a long time driving the screws home, whereby a few screw heads were removed at the end I only needed a few screws to fix it and the many hole options helped I would recommend this en, but got a slightly larger piece than recommended.
