I've found that the nut that holds the strap up often loosens. I often tightened it up as much as possible just to make sure it didn't fall off because it fell off once. I could find it then. Unfortunately I didn't know it had fallen off again and I can't find the necessary item to hold the strap in place. The idea of having a strap on such a large case is great given the overall size of the phone, but we have to go back to the drawing board here. One thing I didn't notice when I received the case is the fact that it's only attached to the edges of the case with double sided tape. There is no other way to hold it in place and it may shift or shift during normal use. I dare to guess that this was due to the warmth of my hands, not to mention the outside temperature where I spend most of the day.
