Review on Secbolt Horizontal Air Compressor Pressure Switch Control Valve 90-120 PSI - Efficient Manifold Regulator Gauges by Eric Dubreuil

Cheaper than replacing my compressor, instructions only say how to install but poor. It's easy to install. I bought high quality teflon and pipe grease, I only want to do it once. I installed the regulator, turned on the compressor, luckily I saw the pressure wasn't set to 120psi, it went over 140 before I manually shut it off. Although defective, ordered a replacement, I decided to disassemble the old one to see how it differs as I didn't want to disassemble it and no one answered when I asked how to adjust the pressure. So here is the silver bracket on the outside of the regulator which is not used on my compressor ie if you have an air regulator from the compressor to control when it stops so I removed it. Inside there are 2 screws, a plastic and a metal screw, which adjust the tension of the spring, I loosened the plastic screw and left it that way, I loosened the metal screw discreetly. Then turn on the compressor and see when it stops, then slowly tighten the screw until it stops at the desired pressure of 120psi, which the included relief valve is set at. You set the pressure with a big plastic knob on the regulator, so the pressure is very easy like any other compressor, and then lock it in place with a plastic adjustment nut.
