I bought this new Envy 6455e instead of the Envy Pro 6455 because the only difference, according to BestBuy and others, is that the 6455e comes with 6 months of free Instant Ink and an additional warranty. Received the printer via UPS today (the box had a huge wound that somehow didn't damage the contents). After reading the Instant Ink program terms and conditions, I realized that this is just a terrible deal. Then, while I was setting up the printer with my computer and WiFi using the required downloaded HP app, I opted out of Instant Ink's free trial (which auto-renews and requires a copy). All of a sudden the installer couldn't register my printer and advised me to contact HP support. Finally, after 20 crazy minutes, a real person chatted me up and said that using the printer requires registering with the Instant Ink program. What to Expect The printer will not register or complete setup without registering with an ink supply program. This is an ink scam; You get 6 months of "free" ink (check the terms) but then a useless desktop brick if you want to get rid of the horrible program. He collected the box and immediately returned to Revane.
