Works like a charm for 7 months Then one day nothing happens New pump comes under warranty I don't think I can survive without this pump It pumps 200 gallons of water out of mine Pond settling chamber in less than 10 minutes. I am deducting a star as there are hiccups. I hope it's just a lemon from all that good pump. Be sure to save this update for the near future. my pump started working again. If I tried pumping or tipping the pump it might work. The float switch is already filled. I don't need a float at all. It's a good pump if they can remove that float switch sensor. Time to buy another brand
