Review on HONOR Band 5 Global Smart Bracelet, Black by Ada Atusia

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Average quality of the product, especially for the money.

I really regretted that I switched from Honor Band 4. The measurement of steps there was many times better. Somehow they wanted to prove to me that the pedometer does not work well and counts incorrectly, then I had HB4. So, the hand with the fitness bracelet was shaking and shaking not a single step. I was sure that there was a check for a correlation between the movement of the hands and the change in position in space. In HB5, everything is exactly the opposite. He shook his hand - plus 10 steps. As for the heart rate monitor, it was clear to me that its accuracy is relative. But about a month ago I bought an exercise bike with a pulse measurement. I can’t say what kind of accuracy there is, but there is clearly a correlation between an increase in load, an increase in breathing. HB5 as shown by random in the range from 60-65 to 80-90 beats, and shows. I don't expect much from a fitness tracker. Message and call notifications, pedometer, alarm clock. The pedometer has definitely deteriorated compared to the previous model. I do not recommend changing HB4 to this model.

Pros
  • 1. Long working time
Cons
  • 1. Pedometer. Calculation at rest is absolutely wrong. Hand movement counts as steps. This is very strange, because c. HB4 had no such problems. 2. Pulse, in my opinion, does not measure at all. It just gives out random numbers in a certain range. 3. There are slowdowns when reading messages and following them.
