It's not a let-go tool, but works well when held down.
I had to use something to drill holes for the dowels to connect the 2 pieces of table top that served as the cover. For the money you are paying it worked well but be aware that you will need other tools to make this tool effective. You cannot loosen your hands with this tool. I've tried it and it wiggles everywhere, even with some other quick clamps and clamps it still wiggles a bit but overall the drill bits work great and the kit comes with the dowels you need. Not very thick but strong enough to withstand the pressure of a drill and showed no wear on the clamps.
