This safety vest arrived neatly folded in a ziplock bag, with the manufacturer's company information printed on the bag. A piece of paper was enclosed with basic use/care instructions in 11 languages, including English. It says the vest can be machine-washed, but only up to 25 times; so to prolong its life, we plan to hand-wash/spot-clean as needed instead. If you do machine-wash it, I'd suggest washing it inside a mesh laundry bag for delicates.The family member who'll be using this vest selected the size based on measuring around their chest while wearing a coat, and the vest that arrived is accurately-sized and can be comfortably worn over their coat as intended. Definitely refer to the manufacturer's size chart in the product images, because these same measurements would've been classified as a different size on another manufacturer's vest that we had looked at. We chose this vest because of the wide variety of colors it comes in, and because the sizes scale up and down in height/length better than some other competing products do, instead of only changing the width/circumference. This one comes to a comfortable length for the wearer to still be able to access pockets on their regular clothing underneath and move around easily with the safety vest zipped up.The main zipper is very thick and sturdy-feeling, and opens/closes smoothly. The pocket closures are all velcro (not our favorite closure type, especially since this is the kind of velcro that can catch on other fabrics). All the seams appear to be accurately sewn and well-finished (no dangling threads). The 100% polyester fabric looks solid at first, but if you hold it up to the light you can see it is a very fine mesh. The yellow strips are very easy to see in the dark with even a small amount of light coming at an angle. The grey/silver reflective strips didn't show up much with the angled light, but when you shine a light more directly at them, they reflect brightly.
