This is an excellent lens. Sharp and WIDE, perfect for home shooting

I'm a REALTOR and I've found that the better the shots the more impressions and the more impressions the faster the sale. I knew I could take better pictures of enclosed spaces in apartments with a wide-angle lens. After reading some of the reviews here I was hesitant to buy this lens. However, I didn't want to spend enough to buy a Nikon 10-24 or 12-24. Since MLS photos display low resolution and are notoriously bad, I bought them. I'm very glad I did. I may have just gotten a good copy, but the copy I got is bright and clear across the field, even at full aperture. I keep seeing images of MLS that show tremendous barrel distortion to the point where you enter a house and expect to see curved walls and curved columns. This lens has minimal barrel distortion even at full aperture. Much smaller than my 18mm kit lens. There's some chromatic aberration, but it's tolerable and small enough to be unnoticeable except at high magnification. So far I've only taken test shots at my house, but they turned out great. I am very happy with this lens and look forward to using it in my next announcements. I want to use it in a real environment so badly that I plan on asking my existing advertisers to spin me again. I have often been complimented on my MLS photos and have even had clients say that they chose to list with me rather than another agent because of my photos. I expect this lens will take me to the next level and allow me to get more listings with even more valuable properties. I have no regrets buying this lens and would do it again without a doubt.
