Review on 🐠 Enhance Water Quality with Acurel Extreme Activated Filter Carbon Pellets for Aquariums and Ponds by Cynthia Akobia

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I've had mixed results with the "frugal" Acurel (mostly good), but it feels like a slow ink-injecting system. I use this for the Drinkwell Avalon fountain. Back to action. After 2 weeks, 4 bowl cleanings and 2 pre-filters, the water is GRAY, the bowl looks like it went through fire and the (usually white) pre-filter is black (again). I hesitated to write this review because it's not that , which I do and I've also contacted the company (web form doesn't work, you have to call). The company contacted me and just said that "our charcoal is already pre-washed and doesn't need to be washed again" and asked where I bought the product. I provided photos and requested data and some additional information and then: nothing. That was a few days ago. In short, my opinion of this product should improve to be very disappointed. It sucks.
