I replaced an aging and cracked air vent in my closed 12 foot trailer. Since I was adding solar panels and batteries for indoor and outdoor lighting, I figured I could have a powered fan as well. Since my trailer and this vent were typical sizes, they were easily swapped out. The hardest part was removing the original screws, but still it only took me 30 minutes to get them out. With a little scraping and cleaning, the new one was ready for installation. I used new bolts, butyl tape and sealant and the next day it started raining. Leaks are not visible! The fan control is simple but works. Compared to just a shielded hole in the roof, that's amazing! I chose this model for the "rain cover" so I don't have to worry about leaving it open. I must add that it was delivered quickly, well protected and wiring was easy.
