Review on Revitalize Water Softening Efficiency with Capacity Replacement Softener Resin Crosslink by William Bell

This resin smells horrible. The resin arrived mid-week along with another cubic foot (1.5 inches total) of another brand. The photo shows a tightly packed package, instead I received a box with a yellow mesh burlap sack full of dry resignation. The other branded glass was in impermeable packaging and was actually slightly damp, not completely dry. A few days later I told my wife that the house stinks. . We discovered it was a pack of resin (hadn't used it yet and had it lying around the house) and I quickly took it to the garage and then with it. I shrugged, thinking maybe it was just the smell he was giving off. after manufacture, so I proceeded with the plasticizer restoration project. Now that the project is complete, our water smells of tar. I hope this goes away soon because if not I'll have to put all the resin back in. Buy resin elsewhere. Update: 09/04/2020. this is NOT their list and this is NOT their product. Who knows where this resin came from, but it is NOT from HydroTec. and had no smell.) that I bought. It's a $200 fabric softener that I have to throw away to rid our house of that foul smell. - I was able to contact Revain who reimbursed me for all the resin. so I can replace it with a better quality resin that doesn't smell. Before you buy, look for reputable plasticizer resin manufacturers!
