Review on 🔌 Quanmin Adaprox Fingerbot Bridge: Smart Control for Non-Smart Appliances with Fingbot ToolPack - Alexa and Google Home Compatible (White or Black) by Jeff Swanson

This is a remote control button that works with Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi. Installation is easy as you basically stick in place with the included adhesive strips so the button clicks properly when the lever is down. It comes with a number of attachments that make it more suitable for controlling different types of buttons and switches. You need to install one of two applications: 1) Adaprox application. Allows you to remotely control the button when within Bluetooth range (approximately 10 feet). It works, but I find it a pretty useless feature. You can also schedule up to 4 key presses. You can do these presses on specific days of the week, every day, or just once. It's very useful. I am currently using it to press the reset button on my garbage robot. There are a ton of other features that I won't go into. 2) Smartlife app - doesn't allow planning which means it's useless (use the Adaprox app if you don't plan to buy a bridge). You can also purchase a WiFi bridge. This allows it to connect to your home WiFi. This allows for an unlimited number of scheduled key presses in BOTH apps. Plus, you can control the button press with your smartphone from anywhere in the world. The internal battery can be charged using the included standard USB-C cable. Good that there is no special cable. The battery seems to last a long time. I've had it for about a month now and the battery indicator still shows a full charge (hadn't charged yet). The price is a bit high (especially if you buy a bridge), but it works like a champ. Hope this lasts long. 5 stars here. Bravo to this company. Unfortunately, the actuator broke after 2 months, so the device is now unusable. It seems that the mechanism wasn't strong enough to withstand repeated button presses for a long time. I am changing my rating from 5 to 2 stars.
