I used them in a dremel with one of the bases to keep the drill bit at the correct height from the tile and adjusted the depth. First a shallow cut, then a deeper cut, then a full cut. I kept the cut damp with a cloth dipped in water. Grind, grind, grind, wet, grind, grind, grind, wet. you have the idea I used two of the 20 bits included in the kit to sand the inside of the "S". and to smooth the outer curves. I could probably keep using the first one, but I replaced it just in case. I have found that diamond drills work much better when even the smallest drop of water remains on the workpiece. They work great and at a great price.
