I was skeptical of a cheap aftermarket general purpose pump. I left my bike too long and ended up corroding the pump so much that it drew too much current and blew the fuse every time. No amount of brake cleaner or penetrating oil will get it spinning again. The Suzuki dealer said a new pump would cost $300 or more. This pump was a gamble, but it was worth it. For those who have a 2003 SV650 my experience is that this pump works great (it has been in service for two months) and fits perfectly. Obviously you are left with some parts as this kit has everything you need for a range of models. But it fits once you put it together. For those familiar with their fuel system this will take 15-20 minutes max including removing the tank.
