I bought these cycling shoes to use on our home peloton bike. My wife has original Peloton shoes so I decided to try them on myself instead of spending money on originals. It took me a little time to figure out how to unlock and lock the wheel mechanism. But once I figured it out, it was very simple and easy. The velcro strap on the top ensures you are firmly in place on the forefoot, then simply pull up to unlock the wheel and then twist to tighten. They are comfortable and fit well in the Peloton brackets. I've only ever used them with Delta spikes because that's what a Peloton bike has, so I don't know how SPDs work. I think they are great, my wife still thinks the originals are better but I think they definitely do the job at a much better price.
