I bought this sink to renovate my kitchen because after ten years with a flat double bowl sink that was practically useless I wanted something in it a whole pot fits . . Regular hardware stores didn't have many options, and what they did was quite expensive and had to be ordered to order. I was a little concerned about buying a sink online but when it arrived I wasn't concerned. The steel is thick, the soundproofing is really good (it's honestly the quietest sink I've ever had) and the quality is amazing. I didn't install it myself, but the company that installed my quartz countertops had no problem installing the sink. The care instructions say to wipe the sink after use. Not me. I also have hard water so yes there are stains but it's a sink. Scrub a little with a magic eraser and it's good as new if you like a sparkly shell. It's also stainless steel, so yes, it will scratch, that's normal. Below is a grid that I don't think I'll like, but to be honest it's very useful. I put a sink on top and don't have to worry about water collecting and dirt growing underneath. My only criticism is that it has the gentlest slope to the drain so the water drains slowly and the dirt doesn't spill out. without a small prompt through the spray hose into the drain plug. That's not a problem for me, because I decided on a faucet with a spout. Without them, you may need to remove the grate and periodically wipe the bottom of the sink to remove food debris.
