This lens is a lot of fun. For the price, it's hard to fault. Build quality is great, everything works well, and there's something nice about slowing down and using a manual focus lens. Picture quality is very good for what it is. If you want clinical sharpness throughout the frame, look at native Fuji lenses and spend 5x (or more) more. If you are looking for a lens that is fun and gives your photos a unique character at a very affordable price, this lens is a good choice. So what is the difference between buying this lens and using an old film lens with an adapter? ? For me, the most important thing is that it's a native Fuji mount, so you don't have to mess with an adapter. It is simply pushed onto the camera and is therefore very small and light.
