Beautiful but no instructions on install

Love the style and quality of the actual faucet. But there was just a sheet telling me what parts were what. Not how to install. Said no Teflon tape needed. But my drain pipe leaked until I put some on. Then I couldn’t get it to stop dripping from the rubber seal On the under side. I had to flip it upside down and not use the metal ring to get it to stop leaking. I am still not 100% trusting that it won’t leak. Praying it doesn’t
