So make sure you use these buffs in the right order or you'll destroy the red ones while trying to get the job done. After using the medium blue buffs to fix the molding of my Harley's heads and air intake, I used the red ones to give them a nice brushed aluminum finish. They are durable and don't clog. Buffing wheels are the right abrasive for a surface finish best suited to atomizing the incoming fuel. Don't forget to purchase the appropriate mandrel for the 8/32 thread pitch. Making your own heads isn't magic. these are the appropriate tools for the application.
