Description of Standard Abrasives 37186 Case Blend 265024

HP material’s durable construction is aggressive and withstands heavy edge work while deburring, contributing to longer service life. Ability to conform to the substrate makes the Buff and Blend Cross Buff ideal for edge deburring on Aluminum extrusions. May be used for deburring on aluminum die cast flashing. Aluminum oxide mineral offers an aggressive cut, useful for removing heavy surface oxidation.

Excellent abrasive for Finishing Products

Using this product, our team found that it provided efficient and consistent results in our finishing projects .The grit was well-blended and uniformly distributed, providing a smooth finish even on rough surfaces. The case contained plenty of material at a competitive price point compared to other options on the market. The only downside was some minor dust buildup, but this is expected with any abrasive product. Overall, we highly RECOMMEND this Industrial and Scientific abrasive for…

Pros
  • High-quality abrasive material for efficient blending and finishing
Cons
  • Requires proper safety precautions and protective gear during use to avoid injury

Use blue first.

So make sure you use these buffs in the right order or you'll destroy the red ones while trying to get the job done. After using the medium blue buffs to fix the molding of my Harley's heads and air intake, I used the red ones to give them a nice brushed aluminum finish. They are durable and don't clog. Buffing wheels are the right abrasive for a surface finish best suited to atomizing the incoming fuel. Don't forget to purchase the appropriate mandrel for the 8/32 thread pitch. Making your own
