Works with a mug, not just a glass.
This is the first cherry pit I have ever bought. It took me a few times to realize that when you pull it up, you also pull up the red part of the device to make the cherry fall. I didn't have a glass, I used a short wide glass cup. It worked fine for me, I think it's cool how the pits are collected in the pen.
