Static when unit gets hot
I purchased this unit to convert my hdmi signal to component specifically for an older reciever i am using in my garage that does not support hdmi. Once the unit gets hot (about 15 minutes of use) the audio quality gets very poor with lots of intermittant static. I thought it was my cables at first and replaced all of them with new cables and even switched out the reciever to another one and the only common item is this unit. I will be trying a different brand.
