Definitely the result of my own installation methods, but I highly recommend just buying and installing if you have an electric drill or you buy one with them. If you think you can hammer them in first before hand-screwing them into the surface, expect at least half of them to bend at an unusable angle. The "bites" on the tips are very uneven (e.g.: blunt, different lengths, constant threading tool along the screw, etc.). Again, this is only a problem if you DO NOT pre-drill the installation location and use the plastic inserts provided. drill to install them when you buy them. However, the ones I've been able to install without bending them beyond functional use serve their purpose admirably.
