Review on Rust-Oleum 7215502 Hammered Metal Finish, Black, 1-Quart (Packaging May Vary) by Steve Brethorst

I used this to update my kitchen counters until I can buy new ones. I did 1 coat primer, 3 thick coats of the hammered copper paint and 3 coats of a high gloss urethane suitable for countertops from Lowe's. It looks amazing! Everyone who comes over loves it and asks if Its copper. It has a silky glass like feeling with a little bit of a textured feel.Its really important to do thick coats for the hammered texture to come out right. So far it's held up well with medium use of the counters. Its been about 3 months. No issues with clean up or if water sits on the counter or scratches. I did put felt feet on all of the stuff I typically leave on the counter and am mindful of sliding stuff across the counter to prevent scratching and I don't put anything very hot directly on it, although the sealer I used said it can withstand heat. Would love to use this on other surfaces.
