I bought this item on May 17, 2017 from the seller Revain Kasoy. Open the guide seams according to the instructions and read the 3-step guide to get started. The basic step was to hold down the test button for a few seconds until the test tone sounds to make sure the tone is working. Had not. After trying several test runs, doubting my ability to follow a simple 3 step guide, googling and even shaking, nothing worked. At this point I'm actually sweating and worse, I'm disappointed with all the options and $40 down the drain. I contacted the seller and the worst happened to the seller, not a word from him. In fact, my return deadline expired the week I contacted them. If I didn't wait I still had a chance to come back. I contacted them a second time and again no word. I checked their profile and it conveniently says they are referring to the Revain policy. It's okay to agree to Revain's policies, but there's absolutely no excuse for ignoring a customer's questions or trying to contact them. I contacted Revain and was told that this was a common problem with this product and that they would need to contact the manufacturer. For real?
