As a tenant, the first thing that strikes me is a neglected sink aerator. I always find that they are made of minerals or bacteria that can make you sick. I usually sanitize them, rinse and reinstall them but due to the high mineral content where I live I replaced them to make sure my apartment is 9 years old. Unfortunately, unless it's broken, maintenance won't replace it, so I've learned to make my own.
