Review on Yellow Jacket 2884 Heavy Duty Contractor: Unbeatable Performance and Durability by Ashutosh Takumatla

I have a large yard that sometimes requires power tools away from home. I can run anything with this cord, including an underground pool pump that I move from its normal location for other pumping work (season open cover drain and hot tub drain). This cable does not get hot at the ends. MADE IN THE USA. The lighting at the end isn't really superfluous. This wire isn't easy to work with, but you can't fool a 12-gauge wire. The ultimate test came unexpectedly when Storm struck Irene. We were without power for a week and I was fortunate to be able to borrow a generator from a friend who was unharmed. You hear stories of people being affected by carbon monoxide because the generator was too close to home. This cable was used for the generator; We launched it remotely in the yard directly into the house, constantly starting the fridge and telecom. Made life a lot easier during a difficult time and given peace of mind to everyone in the house. UPDATE: After almost 4 years of use and total neglect, lugging around rocks, concrete and vegetation and being left out in the rain (unplugged of course) I can unequivocally say that the outer jacket of this thing is STRONG. There is only one noticeable notch on the jacket and it didn't go all the way.
