Review on Kingston 2GB SD Flash Memory Card, 2 GB SD Card by Sarah Brown

I chose this card because it was not the high speed I needed as expansion memory for my GPS Navigator (TomTom GO 720). Other TomTom users have had issues with this unit and differently configured SD cards; Some report that high speed cards or 4GB cards do not work. This 2GB module worked great the first time I formatted it on a FAT32 PC. TomTom found it and found the data on it with no problems. A tip for TomTom users: TomTom only recognized my MP3s on the SD card after I deleted all MP3s from the main unit's memory and downloaded them all to the SD card. I copied the MP3 files to the card using the Windows Media Player "Sync" feature and then renamed the WMP ("Music") folder I created to the "mp3" name used by TomTom. So far this has worked great; Map software, voices etc are still on the main memory of the device and all my music is on the SD card.
