The description says "Thumb screw turns easily." This would be the opposite of the 2 I received, it would be more accurate to say "Very hard, the knurled screw to rotate". I tried the first one on a 4 inch dehumidifier vent tube and after a few turns it became hard to turn. It hasn't even been tightened to the pipe yet. So I took it off and checked. to see if the screw came out of the "rails"? No, it was just difficult to turn. So I tried the second one, and it had trouble spinning as well. I think it's just bad quality. As I said they were fitted to the dryer exhaust pipe which is not easily accessible so I figured they would be great for easy turning, easy tightening. Well, I was definitely wrong. I didn't even bother to return them, which I should have had, I just threw them away.
