Review on πŸ”§ NEIKO 20753A Keyless Chuck Conversion Adapter: Transform Cordless Screwdrivers into Powerful Drills in Seconds! For Round-Shank Drill Bits, No Keys Needed for Tightening with 1/4” Hex Shank. by John Miranda

Great idea with bad execution.

I've had mine for about 2.5 years. It finally broke so it's time to write a review. I bought it to be able to attach standard drill bits to the end of a 1/4" flexible bit extension to work in hard-to-reach places. The claw tips are broken. Pros: * It's as compact as it gets * Lasts 2.5 years with heavy use * Holds smaller drill bits well * Works fairly reliably Cons: * There is no reliable way to grab the body to get leverage against the ammo This can result in that the drill bits come loose or get stuck in the drill material that if the claw gets stuck in the bit, turning the chuck does not apply force to loosen it.* The chuck threads are very rough. This is not a functional problem, but it is a problem.* The soft eccentricity makes small parts more likely to break, and this limits the accuracy of the work, but it is a problem for the routine work.

Cons
  • I have no aversion to it, everything is fine
