Not suitable for my purposes

The end is too thick and I have to use another tool to scrape off the residue. To be fair this is only used for booting and not anything hot. The product has a nice finish and appears to be quite durable, but having personally seen the design and its performance I am inclined to advise you not to. Buy this item if you will be using it in a similar way.
