I bought a single lantern that was 20 years old because the packaging was out of date at a flea market this summer. It was so well built, easy to use and seemed to stay in the sky forever that I decided to buy it online. This product appeared to look identical to the one I received this summer. But it was smaller, took ages to ignite the packaging designed for it, and took ages to take off. The flight time was only a quarter of the length or height of what I bought at a garage sale for a dollar. I guess it didn't start right away because the other thing had something to do with it. The structure and packaging seemed very similar but I suspect it could be due to what they used or the quality of what they used on the area you set fire to. It was very sad I bought this whole pack assuming my son would want to light up two or three. After a long struggle with the first one, everyone just went in after it was done. It wasn't at all like the first one we bought, the head must have been sitting in someone's garage for years. I would recommend buying a better quality than this one. I think you get what you pay for. I was looking for a good deal and figured I could get a few and we could make a family party out of it. I would definitely pay more for better quality next time.
