I was pleasantly surprised when I started using this guy and understood everything he does. I originally bought a Dymo laptop and will leave this topic for my review but this is for my nephew. Brother is easy to use, intuitive and has an amazing recommendation book. Now it's a bit of a learning curve, if you keep track of what you want to do it makes sense. It works with the included adapter and or 6 AA batteries. Basically I want to make flag tags to help me quickly identify the ground wires that support my electronics. But other uses became known fairly quickly. Do not open, turn light switches on/off, thermostat reminders and more. Very glad I bought this. I tried making labels on the computer with Dymo and it was a breeze. I think you can do whatever you want with this guy and save yourself the extra expense of running a labeling program on your computer (as the updated models suggest).
