Pretty easy to use and easy to connect to my PC. It connects to my PC via a USB cable and uses it to power it (you can also use the included power adapter). If you want to transfer pictures to a PC, put it in transfer mode and just like a USB drive, you can open it in Windows and copy and paste the files. You can also remove them from the PC, which is much easier than removing them using the software on the device. I use it to digitally scan old family slides. There are certainly better and more effective products, but for the price it was really great. I can scan about 100 slides (1 video) and watch an hour show at the same time. I could probably scan twice as fast if I wasn't watching TV, but it would feel more like work than play.
