Works pretty well, I didn't bother with another (actually useless) remote control. Press button to change computer control and wait 3-10 seconds. (depending on the speed of your computer) and "boom" on another computer or laptop (docking station). I've found that Windows doesn't normally switch monitors, which others have complained about, but this has happened to me once so far (no big deal: <Shift-Windows-Left Arrow>). Do not connect a keyboard to the USB keyboard port, use one of the hub ports instead. I had a problem with my keyboard in another (external) hub, it said too many hubs, so I just plugged the keyboard into the hub's outlet and it worked fine there, but the mouse worked fine in the other hub. The hub is quite heavy, so your cables won't easily pull it off your desk. Cons: The red LEDs on the top are a bit bright for the night, I put a piece of tape on them. Below you can always buy some stickers somewhere, if they supply some they would still fall off in a year or two. In my opinion, you don't need it anyway, because I didn't notice any sharp spots on the underside of my device. Does not support 4K monitors at 120Hz or 8K monitors at any speed. UPDATE: Works great with my two 1920 x 1200 dp monitors, but with our other computer with a 4K monitor we had too many issues with flickering displays and USB devices connected from another hub connected to this KVM didn't work (either kybd with dual USB and/or the mouse doesn't work, or the popup says it's more than 4 nodes away!). I had to stop using it with this computer but not limit the display to 75Hz. update in nvidia cp.
