I mostly got this as a table mug so I can drink a tall glass of water without having to refill as often. It serves that purpose well. It even has a lid which I wasn't expecting but it would be nice to have something hot to keep warm. What pleased me was that it is almost as light as a feather. I was expecting it to be light since it's metal, but it's not. This is a great feature for a liter container. So you're basically just dealing with the weight of the liquid. I wasn't expecting it to look so well made either, but the inside is beautifully "brushed" metal and the outside is smooth and reflective. The handle seems to be well attached and can support the weight of the drink. After all, it is neither odorless nor tasteless. It was also a pleasant surprise. I poured beer into it, and thanks to the large open neck, I could put my nose in while drinking, and the bouquet was easy to smell, with no foreign metal or other odors. Great cup!
