In terms of performance gain I don't see any noticeable gain over OEM cables in most applications. I chose these wires because I knew they were high quality. These wires are much stronger than the stock wires they replaced on my GTO. They actually fell apart in my hands when I took them off. After connecting these wires myself, I asked the store to supply long tube connectors. The mechanic commented on how light and strong the wires were. Due to the increased heating of the connector wires from the splitters, I also added some Hinson connector heat shields for extra wire protection. Some people have had better luck with unjacketed MSD cables, but I think the extra protection and peace of mind is worth it despite being almost as good as the cables.
