Okay, I am trying wired headsets for our office and they are amazing. At this price, Microsoft will have a hit with Offices. Microsoft ranks between Plantronics' low-cost Blackwire 3000 series, which costs around $40, and their next few models (the 5000 series), which cost around $80. It outperforms the 3000 series in every way, from build quality to sound quality and comfort. I contend that it's more comfortable than the more expensive 5000 series and the sound quality is questionable, and if it's questionable go for the cheaper one. I got really good feedback from my colleagues in the office who also tried out their new headsets. The first comments related to how soft and comfortable the headphones are. Some of them were regular users of Plantronics Focus UC wireless headsets. I've always found the Focus headsets comfortable, but my office workers said these Microsoft headphones were better. They said the audio quality is better with Microsoft on both sides (caller, receiver), although the comparison is a little unfair since Microsoft is wired and others are designed to move up to 100 feet around the office. We use softphones for most of our employees (desktop IP phones can account for 30% and softphones for 70%). I can see replacing Plantronics headsets with these Microsoft headsets if they can withstand abuse (office workers abuse hardware far more than consumers since consumers typically pay for their own hardware). Another benefit of Plantronics is that its ubiquity means you can easily find replacement parts like ear pads. If these Microsofts don't become a hit, one has to hope that the padding will last a very long time. We haven't tried the Teams integration yet as our primary phone system is RingCentral. We use Teams for video calling and messaging, mostly with the occasional audio call. They are definitely worth buying. I can't believe the value you are getting. You wouldn't expect the material to be so flexible and of such high quality for this price range. I haven't tried wifi yet. I can't see myself replacing the Focus UC yet because 1) the RingCentral softphones allow Plantronics headsets to answer calls from the headset (all other headsets require you to answer on a computer or wired controller) and 2) the Focus UC has a range of 100 feet.
