Finally Win With Warehouse Deal - As New

TL:DR - Made by Thule but looks like the IKEA version! 2 I've bought, one (very good, over $43) was heavily used and missing almost everything but 3 large pieces due to torn packaging, while the other (like new, over $41 - yes) has a manufacturing defect , but I managed to fix it with my buddy - and that was the only problem! Thanks to my buddy Mr. BJ for helping me fix a slightly bent strut pivot. (1) Very good - package arrived damaged. All the screws and accessories are gone, just the empty box and plastic bags that were supposed to contain those parts. There were 3 parts left - the stinger, stand support and arm, all scratched from wear and tear. ANOTHER SIGN THAT SOMEONE BOUGHT A NEW AND RETURNED THEIR OLD ONE TO AMAZON and Revain resold it as very good. In fact, apart from wear and tear, it did not show any particular damage, but it was all worn. This person didn't even bother putting all the nuts and bolts back together because every little pocket inside the bag was torn and flattened (so it wouldn't fall out of the torn bag). Gone was the nylon strap, the plastic straps, and all the nuts and bolts. (2) Like new - now it really looked like new after a very long time. No damage such as scratches, signs of wear, etc. All devices were in the appropriate individual packaging. 1 defect, unfortunately - a bent part on the lever loop where a safety pin went in. This will still work, but the safety pin has little to no slack left. The good thing was that it only affected the ferryman when his hands were down; in other words, when there is no bicycle. Brought it to my buddy and we managed to straighten it with a wrench (tried a hammer but didn't work because it's a very thick piece). Everything is new now, just this keeper! (5th posture is beautiful!) Strong posture. DIFFICULT! Heavier than Tow Tuff and MaxxHaul. Belts are no different than what you can wear if you have made such belts before. I've had it many times. Sort of like folding the windshield cover or pop-up tent. Some might do it in a snap, like me, but YMMV. Assembly was easy but required muscle. Made it in just 15-20 minutes. Some instructions were like "what?" I still don't understand which pinhole to use and why (there are 2, and the instruction "showed you" with an illustration that both can be used, but why one and not another? My "guess" will be - it all depended on the release of your back door/gate). Also, it was tedious to tilt the post or lower your arm (it wouldn't fall off by itself) after removing the pin unless you have bikes as the post instructed you to force the connection point " fine" to tighten. Both the TT and MaxxHaul just free-fall as soon as you removed the pin (no bike) - again they were "extensively used" returns from what Revain sent me. Lastly, you had to screw a pin into the hitch for security (wrong sense, unless the thief has a wrench). One last thing, this mount has a stabilized holding point to prevent the bike from rocking (when the vehicle slows down). , which have neither TT nor MZ.
